"Parents, Your Child Deals With People & Challenges
Everyday That Can Negatively Affect His/Her Self Image."
The self-image is how children view themselves.
It can be affected by parents, friends, and everyday happenings but, one important thing
to remember is that a large part of a successful self image is developed during a child's
early years.
One of the most important ways for parents to help their children develop a strong
self image is to make sure that your children are working with role models that are
skilled in developing this Rock Solid Self Image.
Hi,
I'm Fred Nicklaus, the owner of Nicklaus' Martial Arts America. I want to thank you for
giving us the opportunity to work with your family.
We make it a point to make sure that even though our classes challenge kids and raise their expectations, classes must be fun too.
I'd like to share a story with you to bring home the point about the importance of self
image in a kid's life.
The story is about a parent who brought his son to our program a short while ago.
I'll call our parent Joe to protect his identity.
Joe came to us with high expectations for his son. He was very open with us and told us
that confidence had always been a problem for him and he wanted more for his son.
Joe found it difficult to look at us while we spoke and much of his time was spent looking at the ground. His body language suggested that he was a person that struggled with
confidence.
He was, however, very passionate about
wanting to do something special for his son
and as
he continued telling us his story he shared with us how he had struggled in school, both
elementary and high school, and how he really didn’t have many friends while he was in
school.
After high school he went right into the job market but never really found anything that
he enjoyed doing. He bounced around from one job to another until two years ago. At that
point he finally found a job that he is happy with and that is helping him make ends meet.
Joe shared that it has not been easy. He wishes that he could have done things differently
or that someone might have helped him make better decisions.
Good for him that he wanted something better for his son and good for him that he was
willing to let us help his son develop the self image that dad was lacking.
For your information Joe's son is doing very well in our program. He volunteers answers in
class and is willing to show his skills in front of others.
He's learning that it's ok to
make a mistake. Joe's son is learning that making mistakes does not define who he is.
Joe's son is now in second grade and his teacher just told Joe that they've noticed a big
difference in how Joe's son is relating to the other kids in school this year. He's
smiling a lot and he's making many more friends.
Just to give you a time line, Joe's son started with us this past July. Joe thinks that
his
martial arts claases are a big part of why things are going so well for his son this
school year.
I'll be honest with you.
Joe's son is one of many kids who we've helped in our karate classes
We believe strongly that when kids develop the skill of Focus that it has a
very important relationship to their confidence levels. It's because kids who are more
focused are more likely to do well at anything they try which leads directly to more
confidence.
(I Know This Is A Bit Long, But Please, Keep Reading. There Really Is Some Life Changing
Information Here)
Here's another important point. Many kids are terrified of making a mistake.
Our Karate Instructors help them understand that making mistakes is an important part of
learning and when you make a mistake that it is only getting you closer to a better
answer.
So Now I Have To Ask...
What about you?
At any point in your life have you ever felt that your self image was lacking?
Has this feeling affected your confidence, ability to improve your lot in life, or just
live the life that you have dreamed of for yourself?
I don't mean to make you uncomfortable but I say these things to suggest that if any of
these things have ever been a concern for you, even if they have not, but you want
your child to have the absolute best chance of living a fulfilled, happy life,
then I would ask you to consider what I'm going to offer you at this time.
I'm going to give your family a chance to try a FREE
month of karate lessons with us that also included a FREE karate uniform.
It's the same karate program that Joe's son started in and it's the same program that we
offer all of our new families to give them a chance to see for themselves the exciting
results that we have given thousands of kids over the nearly 35 years that we have been
helping kids become the best that they can be.
I sure hope that you consider taking me up on my offer. It would be our pleasure to have
your family involved in our program.
Call us, now. Classes are forming in the next few weeks

Thanks for taking the time to read this letter and I'm looking forward to meet you and
having my karate instructors give you the many exciting benefits that our
martial arts classes can offer.
Respectfully,
Fred Nicklaus
P.S. Many parents have the misconception that Sports or other activities will
automatically raise their kid's Self Image.
Sports and other activities do not FOCUS on nor teach these things on purpose nor have a
curriculum designed to result in a Rock Solid Self image that breeds success and
confidence for each child. We do. That's why what we do works for kids and why it can work
for you, too.
The way your child sees him/herself is NOT something we can leave merely to chance! Let us show you how we can make this happen for you.
P.P.S. Please take a look at the karate parents' testimonials here on this site. These
are real feelings from real parents who want the best for their kids. I hope that we can
add your family's success story to this collection very soon.
